Master of Mining Engineering

Course Description

The School of Mining Engineering offers a Postgraduate Coursework program with courses structured as one-week short courses to be more accessible for those with full-time positions at a mining operations.

The programs are: Master of Mining Engineering (8058) with two specialisations (plans) are offered in this program: Mine Geomechanics and Mine Management. The programs consist of 8 core and elective courses. Some introductory courses are available online. International students must complete in 1 year full time. Local or PR students can undertake at least one course per semester.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of a credit average (65%) in an Undergarduate Mining Engineering BE Degree or related Engineering Degree eg Civil Engineering.There is provision also for July entry.
