Chemical Engineering at Adelaide has achieved a rating of 5 (well above world standard;highest rating) by Excellence in Research Australia in three disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Nanotechnology. Overall, more than 12 laboratories are available to support the relevant research activities, including a new 350 m2 in-situ characterisation laboratory and Materials & Energy Laboratories established in 2022 to support the excellent energy materials research activities.
