Master of Laws (LLM)

Course Description

The LLM is designed to equip practising lawyers and law graduates with an advanced understanding of law to meet the challenges of the dynamic workplace.

The flexible course curriculum gives you the freedom to personalise your education by choosing either a specialised area of the law or a combination of subjects across commercial law, government regulation, resources law and a range of international law.

You will learn from world class professors at a top 100 University and study with the next generation of leaders in legal practice, government, business and the not for profit sector.

Entry Requirements

Admission to the Master’s degree is assessed on the academic performance of a prospective student’s previous degree. We expect a GPA of 5.5 on the 7 scale, a WAM of around 60%+ average or international equivalent and take into account any relevant work experience. International applicants must be able to demonstrate satisfactory performance in a UWA approved test of English with a score equating to an IELTS score of 7.5, with reading and writing at 7.5 or over and no other band under 7.0.
