About the course
In this degree, you will gain a comprehensive education in the principles and practice of information technology. Through your chosen major, you will develop an in-depth understanding of the underlying technology, administration and application of specific applications of information technology and systems.
You will learn about information technology planning and management, and about Internet-based services used in commerce, education, health, science, public administration, and many other disciplines. You will also learn how to apply information technology to model, support, and manage modern, flexible organisations.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Information Technology, a student must hold a Bachelor degree in Information Technology from a recognised University (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing) with a minimum GPA of 4.5 on a 7-point scale or equivalent (students with a Bachelor degree in Information Technology may be eligible for 40 credit points of advanced standing in place of listed IT foundation courses as determined by the Program Director).
