Course Description


Industrial and Organisational Psychology is a specialist area that applies psychological knowledge and skills to workplaces, with the aim of improving organisational effectiveness and the quality of work life.

Course description, features and facilities

The Master of Industrial and Organisational Psychology is a two year full-time course that includes nine coursework units, a research project, and 1000 hours of practical placement spread over three different settings.

Professional recognition

Graduates are eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) College of Organisational Psychologists.

Career opportunities

This course is designed to lead graduates to professional registration with the specialist title of Organisational Psychologist.

To be considered for admission into this course an applicant must have a bachelor’s degree with honours in Psychology of this University, or equivalent as recognised by the Faculty.
