We've been helping students find the right postgraduate course for over a decade.
Spoken in 47 countries, French is a language of major significance in the international arena. The French Programme, which is part of the Department of Languages and Cultures, offers a full range of courses for all levels, from Introductory French for beginners to postgraduate programmes for advanced students.
You will study the French language and French literature, art and culture. Work in the language laboratory of the Language Learning Centre and in oral classes with native French speakers forms an important part of the programme.
With the aid of films, video material, computer assisted language learning programmes and through contact with native speakers, you are encouraged to use the French language as much as possible, both in and out of class.
