Do you want to take your teaching to a higher level and learn how to further engage your students? Our Master of Education (M.Ed.) is a unique programme which enables teachers, trainers and tutors from all backgrounds to reflect on the way they teach and develop their practice in an innovative way.
M.Ed Master of Education Overview
On this Master of Education course you’ll be able to gain insight and inspiration by interacting and learning from fellow educational professionals from across the globe.
Entry Requirements
We offer two different entry routes for our Master of Education, taking into account your prior work experience and relevant qualifications.
In order to satisfy the academic entry route requirements for our Master of Education, you must have the following qualifications as a minimum:
- an undergraduate degree from an approved institution, equivalent to a UK Honours degree, or a relevant professional qualification
In order to satisfy the work experience entry route requirements for our Master of Education, you must meet the following criteria:
- at least two years’ teaching experience in a post-compulsory educational setting
Fees
£11,836 UK and International (2022-23)
£12,167 UK / £12,428 International (2023-24)
Our course fees are fully inclusive – all teaching materials and required reading are included, and there are no hidden charges for assessments or resits.

To be considered for an International scholarship, please contact our Admissions team.
You will be required to write a statement (up to 500 words) in support of your International scholarship application. This will need to include details of previous qualifications, work experience, why you want to study our course and how a scholarship could help you.

International students residing in specific regions outside of the UK may be eligible for a partial scholarship for our postgraduate online courses. Scholarship applications are assessed on a merit basis and will take into consideration previous qualifications and level of work experience.
