The program is designed to extend the knowledge, skills and experience of its students through the analysis of opportunities and challenges facing industries and organisations. Covering all key aspects of business management, the MGSM MBA curriculum is grounded in industry reality which, combined with a highly practical approach, bridges the gap between theory and real-world application.
As flexible as it is practical, over the course of 16 units, you can tailor your experience by selecting 6 elective units, enabling you to deepen your knowledge within a certain field.

There are four terms per year at MGSM The full time student intake is at the beginning of term 1 in January and beginning of term 3 in June. Each term is of 10 weeks duration, week 11 is exam week and week 12 is a week of leave, followed by the next term. Each course unit at MGSM is conducted over a term, involving 40 hours of face-to-face classes. Beyond the 40 hours of face-to-face class time, MGSM estimates an additional workload of approximately 80-120 hours per unit for readings, completion of assignments, group work, meetings, study and exams.

Work experience requirements
Individuals wishing to participate in an MGSM MBA program should possess an undergraduate degree, combined with a minimum of 2 years of work experience at a managerial/professional level.
Alternatively, individuals without an undergraduate degree can elect to begin their study at the Graduate Diploma of Management entry point, and should demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of work experience at a managerial/professional level.
English language requirements
IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent
You may satisfy the English language requirements if you have completed: - senior secondary studies equivalent to the NSW HSC - one year of Australian or comparable tertiary study in a country of qualification
