The part-time MBA will require attendance on a Tuesday afternoon and evening over an academic year. Teaching will take place in the form of lectures, tutorials, discussions, seminars and presentations with your tutors. In addition, you will be expected to undertake independent study involving reading, research, personal investigation and completion of tutor-directed tasks. Learning methods incorporate a manager exchange programme, action learning sets and independent guided study involving the application of the latest theoretical knowledge to practical workplace situations. You will also be given access to a dedicated MBA portal on the University’s virtual learning environment.

Assessment for each taught module is normally by submission of one or two pieces of work, totalling 4,000 words or equivalent. The Research Methods module will involve the submission of a research proposal. The Dissertation itself is between 12,000-13,000 words. This is an important element of the MBA programme which enables you to further customise the MBA.
