Complete your MA in three semesters
The Master of Arts is 180 credits. This means you can complete an MA in three semesters of full-time study. If you study part-time, an MA will normally take three years to complete. (In some disciplines - geography, social anthropology, sociology and politics - you can complete in 12 months of full-time study.)
Entry Requirements
Entry to the 180 credit MA requires a completed BA degree (or equivalent) with a major in the intended postgraduate subject, with at least a B grade average across the 200/300 level major courses.
Direct entry to Part Two (120 credits):
A B+ grade average in a BA(Hons) degree or a Postgraduate Diploma in Arts, endorsed in the intended subject area allows entry to the Research Pathway; a B grade average allows entry to the Coursework Pathway.
