About the course

Description :

The master course aims to provide qualifications for entry into the professions in the area of robotics, computer vision, image processing and medical imaging either in public laboratory or private research company. Over 4 semesters (120 ECTS), the students attend the University of Bourgogne Franche-Comté in France, where all the classes will be taught in English.

VIBOT students are required to cover the areas of studies below, over the total of 120 ECTS:

Entry Requirements

- Outstanding achievement in the applicant’s first degree which must have equivalent to UK First Class in either electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, mathematics, robotics, physics and industrial engineering (i.e. a very good CGPA)
- Language ability: the course is taught in English and candidates must meet the required standards: IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (check here)
- Student motivation to undertake the programme and relevance to his or her professional development
- Very good evaluation from referees

The University of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté provides an international integrated MSc/PhD program called EIPHI standing for “Engineering and Innovation through Physical Sciences, High-technologies, and cross-dIsciplinary research”. Program description

The Graduate School EIPHI finances Scholarship for students coming to study in one of our Master Degree at UBFC and its member universities (UFC & uB).

These incoming mobility scholarship are allocated on a merit based and are for all stuents (national & international)

One-year renewable scholarship for M1 students

Value/Benefits

Amount of 8 000 € / scholarship :

- 8 000 € for the M1 student

- 4 400 € for the M2 student and approximately €3,600 paid to the laboratory for the payment of a 6-month internship
