We form graduate students with outstanding scientific and professional abilities, trained in the various aspects of advanced materials and their applications to: • micro-electronics • photonics • energy control and management.
The program provides a strong interdisciplinary approach to Materials Science, with attention to the most recent scientific and technological achievements in the field and to the materials with the highest technological content.
The first part consists of about 400 hours of academic lectures, seminars, and specialized lectures. The second part (24 credits) consists of an internship in an R&D centre for 5 – 6 months.
