The programme prepares students for doctoral studies, research and careers in the public and private sectors. Core classes focus on micro and macroeconomics, trade policy, regional integration, econometrics, development economics and the international monetary and financial system.

The Master programme consists of a set of core classes and choice of electives.

* Core classes cover: Macroeconomics, International Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Trade, Econometrics (2 Semesters) and International Development.

In addition, students are invited to take courses in the other disciplines taught at the Institute: International Law, International Political Science, History and Sociology and Anthropology.
Students can also take courses offered at the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne.
