Titis Primita

How has Master ID4A been to you in terms of general experience? The curriculum of Master ID4A is beyond my expectation, especially the Workshop program. It lets students experience to work on arrays of real projects with real clients.

Would you suggest to other people to do it? If yes, way? Yes, certainly I would. Students exposure to diverse projects are beneficial at any point of students' life and career. You could be a fresh graduate or a design manager, it is very important for any of us to stop and keep ourselves updated with the latest design related inter-discipline knowledge. Beyond that, we got our hands dirty with hands-on experiences, working with well known companies on their latest project.

In case you went back to your country, was the Master useful for you, once you were back? Several months after my graduation and started to work again in Singapore, I got appointed to be the Director of a well-established design company in Singapore, called Design Datum. In the studio, we have have been applying design techniques & processes which I learned to be beneficial during my study at Master ID4A.

Claudia Valverde

How has Master ID4A been to you in terms of general experience? The master has been great mind opener for me, in the sense that I was able to know the design, its application and real case studies in a wide range of topics, that has finally lead me to my professional profile now a days.

Would you suggest to other people to do it? If yes, way? I would totally suggest this master program, especially to people who are interesting in acquire a doable experience about design theory, design application and real successful design cases, specially around Milano, knowledge that definitely improve your career profile.

In case you went back to your country, was the Master useful for you, once you were back? I went back to my country, and actually I wouldn't be able to have the job I have, and being involve and a lot of exciting projects related with design, innovation and industrial applications if it weren't for the ID4A program. It has actually helped me to be strategically set in sectors of my society that has not been exploited yet but have a lot of potential.

Bernardo Urbina

How has Master ID4A been to you in terms of general experience? The experience of the Masters ID4A was one of its kind. We were lucky enough to had a small yet international class allowing for the students and teacher to get to know each other. I believe the dynamics of the class was well balanced between discussions, lectures, and field trips. The work shops made through out the program had a positive influence on my designs as I come from a industrial design background, and the masters exposed me to a Architectural way to view design challenges.

Would you suggest to other people to do it? If yes, way? The work shops made through out the program had a positive influence on my designs as I come from a industrial design background, and the ID4A exposed me to a Architectural way to view design challenges. I think the mixture of both industrial design and architecture is well thought. I continue to do furniture but applying architectural terms to my design. ex the Facade of the furniture

In case you went back to your country, was the Master useful for you, once you were back? I did not go back to my country, but I moved to the Philippines to start my own furniture line and develop my brand Bernardo Urbina Design. Looking back at my experience in Milan I would have to say the many field trips to different architectural sites guided by teachers with immense knowledge was one of the many things that helped me grow as a designer. It showed me how to apply a "italian" clean design style to my products when needed.

Patricia Jara Garzon

How has Master ID4A been to you in terms of general experience? In general I think the experience of the Master was very grateful because I got not only the knowledge from, in my opinion, some of the most representative teachers and professionals, but I got the chance to meet people from other countries and learn from their perspective as well. In addition to this, I had the opportunity to live in another country and learn about the rich Italian culture.

Would you suggest to other people to do it? If yes, way? Yes. I think if you are interested in learning something new that can enrich your architecture design, this is the master for you. Doing architecture means not only designing nice looking buildings but design the details as well. Going from the small detail to the main object and vice versa is something that I learn from the master and I applied it daily.

In case you went back to your country, was the Master useful for you, once you were back? Yes. As you might know Ecuadorian government is sending young professional abroad to get Master studies in order to improve the educational level in Universities. When I came back, I got call from the main university in my hometown and got an offer as a professor. I never thought about a teaching position but nowadays is my perfect job because I can pass to my students all the knowledge I acquire during the master.

Federico Gonzalez

How has Master ID4A been to you in terms of general experience? This master really opened my perspective of design in general terms, developing skills to face and organize the design process, understanding how projects worldwide can be developed specially in Italy, where you can breathe design. All of that throughout the fact of working with people form all around the world sharing our cultures, working with real companies in each workshop and at the end having the opportunity to do the internship with an important company as it is BERTONE DESIGN.

Would you suggest to other people to do it? If yes, way? I would like to suggest this master to all designers in general and all those who are passionate about design, as it is an experience that teaches you the different stages of design, how to approach it, develop it and order it in a very professional way to be competitive in the market. also with different lectures, trips and workshops we can see how design and architecture companies work.

Pedram Soleimany

How has Master ID4A been to you in terms of general experience? Starting point and conducting of an architecture work sometimes can be very challenging. This course was pretty useful and practical, especially in acquisition of design process that clarifies the path of design in all steps.

Would you suggest to other people to do it? If yes, way? I absolutely recommend this course because I think aside from the things students will learn from the workshops it’s also a great opportunity for motivated students to hone their skills by the provided visits.

In case you went back to your country, was the Master useful for you, once you were back? Today in my projects I have clearer design vision, less confusion, and more design confidence, which results in higher qualifications.

Melissa Sobrado Pauly

How has Master ID4A been to you in terms of general experience? The Master ID4A was a very enriching experience, both personally and professionally. It gave me a good insight of design and architecture from a Milanese point of view. Being Milan an important design capital in the world, it becomes a complete eye-opening experience.

Would you suggest to other people to do it? If yes, way? Yes, I would encourage people to take the Master ID4A program. Specially those architects with a keen eye for design (or vice versa) because it's a good complement of both. In my case, I have studies in both so it was very fulfilling to merge this knowledge.

In case you went back to your country, was the Master useful for you, once you were back? For me it was useful because, even if my work is not directly related to architecture at the moment, I have used all the theory behind temporary structures (learned during the ID4A Master) and applied it to modular, easy to change micro structures in my current designs.

Rachid Khalil

How has Master ID4A been to you in terms of general experience? The MID4A was the epitome of what an enlightening Master is all about. Honestly, I never expected that it has that much to offer, it exposed me to other individuals from different fields who expanded both my architectural and design worlds. It gave me more confidence and challenged my ability to achieve my goals; from idea to a completely realised project.

Would you suggest to other people to do it? If yes, way? Yes I definitely suggest to other people to do it. It was a great opportunity for higher learning discovery of oneself strengths. The whole program gave me a great sense of accomplishment.

In case you went back to your country, was the Master useful for you, once you were back? I actually stayed in Milan and have my own business here. It all started with one small apartment that I renovated in the historical center of Milan, then I proposed to the client to rent it online for short period. He was not convinced about the idea so I started doing that myself; I bought an apartment, renovated it and put it online for short let, and that was just the beginning.
