The aim of the Master in Global Design is to acquire a global vision, open to collaborations with other design disciplines and gain sensitivity and predisposition towards working together with other professionals or join multidisciplinary teams.
The course is a way to improve professional profiles that are performing in a particular discipline (product or fashion design, communication, interior design or marketing and business) by expanding their knowledge and skills, and facilitating the contact or even the development of projects within other design disciplines.
In some cases, students will also acquire insights and knowledge of their fields of specialization. A chance to stay current in latest trends of their specialities and an opportunity to face new perspective through discussion with lecturers and professional colleagues.
Acknowledgement of different project approaches, new work methods; conceptual, technical or material aspects that will make easier to collaborate with other designers or teams. At the same time, their own professional practice will be enriched.
To provide an opportunity to research in fields that students have never approached, as well as in hybrid fields, bringing knowledge that will enhance the critical eye turning it a starting point to build new innovative proposals.
