Overview In a competitive market, where visual communication plays a key role in the success of companies, our program aims at providing participants with the tools and competences for the new profession of the Visual Fashion Brand Communicator.
This strategic figure will be able to create, through photografic shots, the “fashion message” making the products appealing and so giving an added value to the creativity of designers.
He/She will be the aesthetic coordinator of the point of sale, where the brand values will be highlighted by researching the most effective way to reach the reference target market.
It provides students with the knowledge and tools needed to understand new languages and new trends fashion. Participants will have the opportunity to undertake direct experience of working with top professionals and prestigious brands.
The program includes an internship in a company working in the disciplinary field.
Audience Candidates holding a first-level academic diploma or BA degree, or about to graduate and with a knowledge of the English language (IELTS 5.0 academic or equivalent certificate). The program is addressed to candidates with a curriculum in Fashion Design, Design, Photography, Architecture and Communication or disciplines related to the program’s field of study, and at young professionals in the fields of Industrial Design, of journalism and media offices for Fashion, Fashion Styling, or Visual Merchandising, and also to holders of fashion companies eager to improve their skills.
Job Opportunities The aim of the Master is to make the participants able to pursue a career as a Fashion Stylist or a Visual Merchandiser, starting their own business or working for fashion companies advertising agencies, TV, as a celebrity assistants, and in all areas involving visual communication.
Companies A network of professionals and leaders of different areas of interest are in constant and proficient interaction and collaboration with the Master in Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising of Domus Academy, actively participating in educational programming, workshops and international competitions organized by the department.
