Is your heart set on a design career in an innovative setting? Do you want to shape design strategies and see your ideas from conception to implementation? If so, this Master’s programme at Macromedia University, Germany’s top private university in the field of design and communication, is the right programme for you.

This programme is aimed mainly at designers who wish to apply a broad understanding of design to real problems and human-oriented design tasks. At Macromedia University, we believe that creative and innovative professionals distinguish themselves through broad expertise on diverse subject matters. Therefore, applicants without concrete design background are also welcome.

Design thinking is the core of this programme. Students learn to integrate the management and design perspectives fostering innovations through “Design Thinking”. Students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge on real projects with our industry partners who innovate leveraging upon design and management. Within interdisciplinary teams, students develop solutions to problems in the area of design, be they in relation to strategy, service design or human-centred design.
