The Biomechanics & Biomedical Engineering (2BME) Master program provides students with state-of-the-art training in the exciting field of biomedical engineering - the application of physical science and engineering concepts and technologies for the life sciences and for understanding, diagnosing, and treating disease. Applicants are expected to have strong backgrounds in engineering, physics, or applied mathematics and a desire to contribute to the upcoming revolutionary changes in the life sciences and medicine. No background in biology is necessary.
The 2BME program provides students with a highly interdisciplinary curriculum focused on five specific tracks:
Admission can be in either Year 1 or Year 2. Year 2 admits may be required to enroll in some Year 1 courses.
· MSc Year 1 (M1) admission: BSc (or equivalent) in engineering, physical sciences, applied mathematics, or chemistry
· MSc Year 2 (M2) admission: 60 ECTS (credit units) obtained in MSc year 1 or equivalent
· The clinicians track (MECENCLI) is strictly dedicated to health science students or practitioners (medicine, ondotology, physiotherapy, nursery, pharmacy …)
English language proficiency (minimum B2 level or equivalent) needs to be demonstrated.
EU/EEA/Switzerland students: 243€
Non-EU/EEA/Switzerland students: 3770€
Engineer students enrolled in one of the five member schools of Institut Polytechnique de Paris (Ecole polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis): 159€
