About the course
The MA in Mass Communications at the University of Leicester provides a thorough grounding in the theories, approaches and research necessary for the study of media and communication processes in both the national and global contexts. The course combines an overview of the history and development of communication research with a critical analysis of current theories in the field, preparing students for careers in new media organisations, as well as press and broadcast organisations with a new media component, international news agencies, government departments (e.g. publicity) and public relations consultancies.
Entry Requirements
2:1 degree or equivalent professional qualification.
We can give special consideration to applicants who have significant work experience in a relevant field.
