“The international environment at the University of Brighton has enriched my appreciation for other cultures and allowed me to share the experiences of my fellow classmates. I value all of my experiences at the university, from my study in the UK to the dynamic classroom discussions and practical nature of the courses that are carefully designed to challenge you to apply what you have learnt. Living in Brighton is so amazing. Pubs, clubs, shopping, restaurants, cinemas, the marina, the pier and the beach in the summer. Everything is within walking distance. Brighton is so lively – it really is a 24/7 city!!”

Markus Steinhauser

“The course not only provided me with the skills to compete efficiently in today’s fast moving environment, but also gave me the chance to work and make friends with classmates from various cultural backgrounds. Compared to my first degree in International Business, where the foundations of a career in business were laid down by touching the surface of a wide variety of areas in business, the Marketing course really felt like 'deep sea diving' – challenging and questioning widely recognised, but dated concepts such as the 4P's, and shifting attention to present and future challenges to marketing in an interconnected world with increasingly demanding customers – a great but demanding experience."

Tina Sendlhofer

"The MSc Marketing course at University of Brighton was a very valuable experience and an important time in my life. I was inspired by an intellectual and international environment. Without doubts, the course taught me the essentials about Marketing and equipped me with important research tools."

"When I think about the years at Brighton, I remember an exciting period of time with challenging group assignments. The course helped students to succeed in teamwork and develop further our skills and knowledge. Next to that, the course enabled us to build up a useful worldwide network of friends and future colleagues."

"Achieving the Masters degree from the University of Brighton was crucial for me to get hired for a competitive future leadership programme at an international Dutch corporation. After I had collected some work experience, I decided to return to research and have started PhD studies at the Department for Marketing and Strategy at the Stockholm School of Economics."
