Your programme of study

Convert your degree from any discipline or add Marketing Management to become employable nationally and internationally. Marketing Management can be a stand alone advanced degree which focuses on the strategic side of marketing and business at operational level. It allows you to scrutinise all parts of a business to determine issues within a life cycle and customer acquisition giving you options and recommendations for trouble shooting issues. It sits above tactical advertising methods by providing the necessary skills to analyse what tangible and intangible areas of the business are communicating in terms of the 7 Ps and communications channels and whether the problem lies within the product, its communication or a combination of both. It also operates at brand level to determine how well your brand is communicating internally and externally and whether all parts of your business are customer centric.

Not only does Marketing Management allow this level of scrutiny to occur but it allows you to develop a very strong range of skills to critically analyse competitors, the environment in which you trade, new trends which may impact, understand customer expectations and act upon them and avoid churn. These skills are also useful to you if you are contemplating taking a new product or innovation to market either within a larger business function or your own enterprise. You can also provide significant consultancy work to assist many types of businesses and organisations to effectively grow their business, prevent stagnation in communications and product and align their business better to current and future trends.
