Further study

Opportunities for course progression include the traditional PhD or a Master’s by Research; a one year, full-time research degree. It contains little or no formal taught component and is attractive if you want a briefer research-based degree or prepare for a full PhD.

Research plays an important role in informing all our teaching and learning activities. Through research our staff and students are contributing to the latest developments in their field. Our guiding vision is to conduct research that promotes excellence in management thought, innovation and application.

Inspiring Graduate

After winning the University of the Year award in 2013, Suhail felt Huddersfield was one of the best options for studying at Postgraduate level. He found the tutors to be friendly and professional, and plans to continue his Management career back in Abu Dhabi.

"The skills I’ve developed most are my communication skills; speaking, reading and listening. I believe that a postgraduate qualification enhances both the academic and research skills that students will need in their future careers and help increase the chances of employment." - Suhail Alderei, Management student
