After studying in China for four years for my bachelor in Law and French, I made the decision to switch to the business world. I chose to relocate to Europe for my further study because I’d fallen in love with it during an exchange programme in Lyon. This lead me to ESCP Europe, a School which attracted me with its excellent reputation and unique, five-campus set-up. I started my adventure here in September.

I spent my first year on the Master in Management studying at the Paris campus. My classmates and professors were from so many different countries that I felt like I was in the United Nations!

My first internship was spent working in capital markets at a French bank in Paris. This was an experience I will never forget: the international working environment, my smart colleagues, and the range of challenging tasks were all very exciting! I learnt so much not only in terms of the work itself, but also regarding European culture.

I have since moved to the London campus in order to take advantage of the Business Consulting course there. Studying in London has expanded my horizons even further and it has become the second meaningful step in my European adventure.

In the near future I plan to do another internship in either corporate finance or consulting to see which suits me the best. I believe that the knowledge, skills and network I have gained from my time at ESCP Europe will help me find employment with an international company, hopefully one which bridges the gap between Europe and Asia.
