University of Reading    Henley Business School

Full time September MSc 12 months full-time

About the course

Students on this Masters course will examine the strategies multinational firms use to compete in a global economy. As well as the development and policy challenges they create, from the perspectives of both developing and developed countries.

Through this Masters degree students will learn how firms are organised internally. Additionally, you will take a holistic view of the international business environment, regarding the competitiveness of firms and industries. Students will therefore be able to connect the 'micro' firm view with the 'macro' view of countries and regions.

Student Profile(s)

Phichamon (Pattie) Phupongpaisan

I have been awarded two scholarships from the University of Reading and Henley Business School. This opportunity allows me to focus on my study and gives me a chance to take part in university activities. When I applied for the scholarships, I put all my effort into a written essay related to my experience, which helped me to reflect and improve myself. Writing as a reflective essay allows me to enhance my core capabilities that contribute to future goals.

Joe Earlam

I had some doubts before undertaking my Masters as it was in a subject I had no prior academic knowledge in. However, this year has been incredible and I am so thankful that I took the challenge.

I took the challenge to study a Master’s at Henley. The course outline was challenging but very well structured which helped my study and learning. My advice for anyone looking to do a Master’s is to just 100% do it!
