Enhance your skills in management of health and social care. Our course will help maximise your ability to apply theoretical models of management and leadership to your own work setting. You'll enjoy a vast range of modules covering every aspect of leadership, from managing within an organisational context to placement shadowing experiences and research methods. Thanks to our flexible approach to studying, you'll be able to learn at a pace that suits you; take the first step to improving your managing skills with this programme.
Our contemporary modules are highly applicable and contextualised not only to your own work, but to the broader field of managing and leading within health and social care. All module outcomes have been mapped to the OPS MSO Career Stage 2 document, ensuring relevance to the specific role requirements of an MSO. We also recognise ICSC (L)/CMI Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership (QCF) as equivalent to 60 credits towards the award of our Postgraduate Diploma or MSc (subject to approval).
You'll have the knowledge and skills to provide effective management and leadership in both military and civilian health and social care contexts. By learning alongside civilian students, you will benefit from sharing experience and insight from a variety of backgrounds.
1st or 2nd class honours degree. Students with other qualifications may be admitted to the course via Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) procedures.
