The MA in Product Design Innovation Management links creative ideas to business reality. Through lectures, practical workshops and industry involvement you will learn how to turn your creative concepts into commercially viable products or systems. Strategies for commercialisation are considered along with environmental issues such as designing more to produce less.
By the end of the course you may have produced a prototype of your product, however the main emphasis will be on your dissertation which will take the form of a business plan. Your business plan for your product will be supported by extensive market research and statistics. You will also produce a reflective journal throughout the duration of your studies.
