Course content

Embedded throughout the course is the integration of theory and practice, acknowledging the need for you to grasp both the key fundamentals of people management and, within this context, reflect on your practice. The core of the course reflects this approach in its exploration of a wider understanding of international people management and awareness of the need for you to be able to read and interpret data from a HR perspective.

You will be able to select from a range of optional modules which match to your interests or career needs. This may be a particular path you wish to follow, for example either a management orientated route with a focus on reward, performance and resourcing, or an employment focused route with topics such as employment law and employee relations. If you want a broader approach, then you can pick from the range of modules. Finally, you will be engaged in a dissertation project on a relevant topic of interest to you or to your area of practice.
