Christine Davison

"I enjoy finding out about things. I'm really nosey, and love to research historical issues, find out what other people think, then put forward my own views and see how they stack up. I concentrate on cities in the Roman Empire and look at written and archaeological material, so I get to cross into at least two other disciplines, archaeology and languages."
Martin Smith

The University of Sheffield has a unique relationship with the public. The MA in Medieval History reflects that in its structure, and that reflects on my own desire for a better relationship between history and the public outside of heritage sites and museums. A postgraduate degree from the University of Sheffield puts me on the front line of that ambition.
