The competition of companies today takes place – also for medium-sized enterprises – on a global scale. Therefore enterprises need “globalisation managers” who have been trained in business studies and who are familiar with topics such as international accounting (IFRS, US-GAAP, UK-GAAP), foreign trade financing, international controlling and (international) business taxation. Especially medium-sized enterprises, which are the real motor for employment in Germany, have a lot of catching up to do but also medium-sized tax-counselling and auditing companies as well as big corporations will have an increasing demand for business studies graduates with pronounced competences in international issues.
Graduates who want to successfully master these tasks will have to qualify in international business administration. They will have to have additional know-how in all individual areas in order to be able to master the additional demands of global business. This applies especially for export and international procurement but also for financing questions, legal problems and human resources issues. Moreover they have to have good negotiating skills in at least English and intercultural social competence. These are also the qualifications regularly requested from graduates by human resources managers. These qualifications are provided by the master programme International Accounting and Taxation on a high level.
The Programme starts in Summer and Winter.
The Length of the Programme is 3 or 4 Semesters
