Course content

This taught MA brings together philosophy and the study of literature and gives a sense of the interdisciplinarity between the two subjects.
The programme consists of 6 modules and a 20,000 word dissertation.
Modules are selected from the following: Research Methodology, Philosophy and the Subject: From the Modern to the Post-modern, The Value of Literary & Cultural Theory, Contemporary Post-Colonial Theory and Literature, Introduction to Hermeneutics, Existentialism and Literary Realism, Literary Aesthetics, Utopian Theory and Texts.
