Student Profile(s)

Travis Nelson

Choosing to undertake the IPEU MA at Warwick was one of the best decisions I have ever made. One of the best attributes of the Warwick MA is the flexibility offered for what modules we are allowed to take. While my focus was on the EU, I was still able to take a module on international political economy. This flexibility, in turn, allowed me to further specialize and proved to be incredibly helpful when it came time to write my dissertation. I chose the IPEU program at Warwick because of this flexibility, in addition to its location. I wanted to have the opportunity live in the UK, but I didn’t want to live in London. Studying at Warwick allowed me to become a real part of the community; this is what made my experience so memorable. Not only did I get a world-class education, but I also was able to make great friends, and feel like I was part of a community.
