English is the language of globalisation. It is the mother tongue of around 350 million people, and an even larger number speaks English as a second language. During the Master’s degree programme, you can specialize through a mixture of obligatory and elective courses as you build on your BA and work with contemporary topics in either English-language literature, linguistics, or the history, society and culture of the English-speaking world.
