The Masters of Arts in Educational Psychology (MAEP) is a two-year full time programme which aims to prepare trainees for the range of autonomous and collaborative professional roles that are performed by educational psychologists (EPs) in a variety of contexts and with a range of client groups.
By the closing date for applications, applicants must hold an accredited qualification in psychology which is accepted by the Psychological Society of Ireland as conferring eligibility for graduate membership of the society. (Please address enquiries on these matters to PSI). Two years work experience with children/young people in an educational or community setting. Suitability to work with children. This will be assessed on the basis of interview, references and Garda vetting. The latter will be sought by the college in respect of successful applicants.
