MA in Contemporary Continental Philosophy

Course content

For students interested in Contemporary European philosophy (aka "Continental" philosophy), University College Dublin is one of the top ten universities in the English speaking world The MA programme draws on the expertise of several members of the School in a broad range of philosophical topics.
Requirements:
Students take six modules, at least four of which must be from the list below.

Autonomy as a Philosophical Problem
Phenomenology of Embodiment

Nietzsche
The Good Society
Hermeneutics of Narrative Imagination
Paradigms of Socio-Cultural Criticism
In addition, students must write a dissertation of 12,000-15,000 words by 17 August 2012.
