The MA brings together expertise from the phenomenological and analytic traditions in philosophy of mind as well as empirical approaches to offer a unique taught Masters course on a much discussed t topic. Students take six taught courses from the list below. Phenomenology of Embodiment (Dermot Moran) Post Cognitivist Approaches to Mind (Fred Cummins) Emotions (Rowland Stout) Carnal Hermeneutics (Richard Kearney) Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology of Perception (Tim Mooney) Advances in Neuroscience (Nuala Brady) Mind and World (Jim O'Shea) The Cultural Mind (Maria Baghramian) Philosophy of Mind In addition, all students must complete a 12-15,000-word dissertation by late August 2013.
