This course approaches all forms of graphic design as triggers for thinking and feeling. By interrogating your practice at the cognitive level, you’ll explore how such things as a metaphor, and the framing and blending of ideas, drive communication.
Recognising the individual and their aspirations, and celebrating ideas and risk-taking, our approach and experience of encouraging inter-disciplinary and collaborative activity lies with the provision of a meaningful journey for you beyond the obvious.
You will meet the fresh, often unpredictable and certainly challenging possibilities that are offered as you test, develop, progress, interrogate, ‘make’ and confidently reflect on your practice.
Applicants will usually have a 2:1 or equivalent undergraduate level qualification in Art, Design, Media or Performance and will be interested in experimentation and innovative practice within a structured framework leading to Masters outcomes.
International applicants must also hold a relevant English Language qualification.
