Students study in 2 or 3 European universities chosen from among the ten making up the Crossways Consortium: Università di Bergamo , Universidade Nova de Lisboa , Université de Perpignan , University of St Andrews , Universidade de Santiago de Compostela , University of Sheffield, Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan, University of Guelph . Non-degree awarding associate members: Universidad Nacional de Entre Ríos and Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México .
Among other boundaries crossed: those of subject discipline. This programme draws on insights, perspectives and methods borrowed from: literature, literary and film criticism, history, linguistics, semiotics, cultural studies, media studies, ….
Master's is open to students who have:- completed an undergraduate degree in the field of Arts, Languages or Social Sciences- have a level of First Class or 2:1 Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree - possess a near-native level of TWO of the following Languages: English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, and Spanish – with a basic knowledge of, or willingness to acquire, a THIRD European language.If you wish to apply for direct entry into the second year of the programme, you have to show that you have already at least four years of relevant coursework in Higher Education.
