This course enables individuals to engage with latest research and practice in digital, social and mobile landscape and translate those learnings to design digital, social and mobile products, services, systems, and communications for a range of areas e.g., healthcare, e-commerce, media, education, politics, government. No technical or design expertise is required. You will develop skills in critical and creative thinking for digital design, idea development, service design, and entrepreneurial thinking by engaging with philosophy, theory, critical reflection and practice, workshops, prototyping and projects drawn from the School of Design and Leeds Enterprise Centre (LEC). You will have access to live projects from private, government and third sectors. This clearly differentiates this Masters from any others in UK universities. A 2:1 honours degree or equivalent qualification. In exceptional circumstances, applicants without a first degree will be considered on the basis of relevant work experience and potential to benefit from the course. You are required to submit a portfolio of recent practical work relating to your educational and/or employment background.
