About the course
The online or on-campus study programme in Cyber Security will turn you into a professional threat hunter. Detect attacks on IT systems and successfully ward them off.
What you will learn from us
With digitalisation, cyber-attacks on software and systems are on the rise. To ensure the confidentiality, availability and integrity of their data, just about every company, organisation and government agency requires competent cyber security professionals. There is now a tremendous and unprecedented demand for security experts who are able to identify and provide protection against cyberattacks.
Entry Requirements
To study this degree (120 ECTS), you will need to have achieved at least 30 ECTS credits in an IT or computer science related field(s) as part of your bachelor's studies.
Academic Requirements:
- Completed degree from a public or officially recognised university/higher education institution in relevant field.
English Level:
- If English is your native language or you graduated from an English-speaking school/university, you don't have to prove your skills.
- IU English courses B2.2 Certificate*

Turning a hobby into a profession: IU alumnus Max Euler realised this dream when he founded R3PREZ3NT, an agency focused on professional gamers and corporate consulting. He developed the concept during his studies at IU and wrote his bachelor’s thesis on eSports.
