About the MSc Programme

This is a Double Executive Master's in Health Policy with the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. It is a modular programme, designed for professionals working in policy, and the healthcare field.

The large shift in the world’s global resources within the health sector has seen a general increase in the demand for specialised master’s programmes in health policy. With significant challenges in domestic and international health policy, global health and sustainability, health technology innovations, and financing healthcare, the programme seeks to complement your specialist skill set with in-depth policy insights and practical tools of economic analysis.

This programme will lead to the award of two degrees. LSE modules, which lead to the award of MSc Health Economics and Policy, focus on financing healthcare, cost-effectiveness analysis, pharmaceutical economics, and systematic review and meta-analysis. The programme is offered by the Department of Health Policy, which carries out impactful health and social care research, influences and informs national and global policy-making and implementation.

The University of Chicago modules, which lead to the award of MA in Public Policy (with a certificate in health policy), will focus on microeconomics, statistics, analytical politics, public policy research and strategies and tactics in health policy. The programme includes both a capstone course and a dissertation. These projects are designed to strengthen your professional experience and skills in preparation for the transition from mid-level to leadership positions.

More information can be found on the LSE-Chicago Double Executive Master's website.

LSE maintain links with leading employers both in the EMEA and Americas markets. The School offers a range of resources to assist you in your career development and connect to the global alumni community.
