Employment law is a highly marketable specialism within the field, both for lawyers and for professionals from corporate functions such as human resource management. This LLM provides an in-depth coverage of recruitment, termination and discrimination law with options in EU law, corporate governance and responsibility and international human rights. The Law department has two professors of Employment Law with national reputations who lead this course.
- Open to non-law graduates, provided they take the short 'Introduction to Law' course during induction week - Innovative programme designed to develop your skills in summarising, synthesing and presenting complex legal material and arguments - Specialist teaching by Professors who are international experts in Employment Law, and augmented by expertise of our highly-regarded Human Resource Management Department - Students engage actively and participate in various hands on exercises and activities, working closely with teaching staff and tutors - Students have opportunities to focus on issues of particular interest to them both in the taught modules and through an extended dissertation.
