Course content

At a time of political tension, a growing terrorism threat, communication without borders and business globalisation, the role of international law is in the spotlight as never before.

On this course you will study different issues and perspectives in a historical and contemporary context, gaining an understanding of how the law and international politics and business interact and sometimes collide.

This is a research-driven course suitable for you as a graduate, whether or not you have studied law before. It’s especially relevant if you are pursuing a legal career, have a general interest in the subject or would find it useful in your chosen field.

International law – its role, significance and influence – is a fertile ground for study and you will learn about and engage in contemporary debates.

If you want to keep on working and earn while you learn, you can. All our classes take place in the evening, with lectures also made available as podcasts and posted online.
