The options for a person wishing to study International Economic Law as a degree are limited. Thankfully the University of Warwick proposed that degree. Initially I applied and enrolled at Warwick because of the increasing reputation of the institution and some leading academics. I know this is why I decided to make that step after graduating from the University of Brussels and working at the European Parliament for a year. After spending two months at Warwick I would recommend the program to everyone motivated and interested in the field.
Why? Friendly and helpful tutors, really interesting lecturers who emphasize a practical approach of ‘law in context’, amazing staff with a real open door policy, these are just some of the advantages of Warwick law school. Services such as ‘careers and skills’, Warwick Sport and POP will help you integrate, reach your goals and have fun. Overall Warwick is an experience worth living. I have met amazing people with extremely interesting backgrounds and professors that have gone out of their way to propose something innovative. I am sure the relations I have built here will last for many years.
I would advise new students to seek information on the modules, on the diverse services offered and to attend the postgrad seminars. I am sure that a lot of the current postgrads will gladly answer any questions you might have honestly, the Law School can put you in contact with us. If you do come to Warwick… enjoy your time here, it goes by extremely fast and you will remember it forever.
