About the course

Interested in Law but don't have a law degree? Our LLM in Foundations of Legal Knowledge will provide you with the legal knowledge to pursue a successful career in Law. Designed especially for non-law graduates or those who have an overseas Law degree.

Our course will provide you with a rigorous and challenging learning experience to help you enter the legal profession.

You'll improve your legal research, critical reasoning and legal problem-solving. You'll also study a range of modules that will equip you with postgraduate transferable skills. These include group work, interviewing and negotiation, oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Entry Requirements

A lower Second Class or above Honour’s Degree or a degree equivalent professional qualification
Other qualifications or specific professional training and/or experience may be considered if the applicant is able to demonstrate his/her suitability for the course and provide evidence as appropriate at an interview
For overseas applicants whose first language is not English, or who have received higher education where the medium of instruction is not English, the language requirement is IELTS: 6.5 or above, or equivalent, with no sub-score less than 6.0
