Course content

Our LLM (Comparative Commercial Law) programme gives you the opportunity to engage in theory and practice with significant issues in law relating to commercial and financial activity. The compulsory module, for instance, focuses on legal problems of practical importance of not only common law and civil law systems, but also mixed systems such as China, Russia and Japan.

The BPP University LLM (Comparative Commercial Law) helps you find new career horizons. Giving you knowledge and practical insight in to the operation of other legal systems and how specific issues in commercial law and practice are addressed in other key jurisdictions around the world.

The programme has been designed by leading international comparative lawyers for law graduates, practising lawyers and others involved in the administration of the law, including those who contemplate at some stage of their career working overseas. In addition to the skills and comparative knowledge that are offered in the core module, a broad choice of relevant elective modules lets you focus your career path.

You can study one year full-time or two years part-time, with the option of three starts in September, January and May.
