An ordinary degree will also be considered, along with appropriate professional experience
Candidates with no formal qualifications, who can demonstrate their abilities and engage in continuing professional development, will be considered
You must also be in employment (paid or voluntary), and able to draw upon your working experience in order to complete assignments

At postgraduate level many of our courses can be studied fully online from anywhere in the world; others are campus-based, where you will have access to research-active subject specialists. We are a multi-campus university with centres across the north of Scotland. Some courses area available in one location only, for others you may have a choice of campus.

A 10% discount in tuition fee is available to degree graduates from the University of the Highlands and Islands on any of our taught postgraduate courses.
The alumni discount applies only to the tuition fee element and does not apply to any additional costs which may be required to complete the course.
The discount cannot be applied retrospectively and must be requested before or at the time of paying the first year fee.
The alumni discount is not available in conjunction with any bursary or scholarship or combinable with any discounts from the university.
10% discount on tuition fees
Degree graduates from the University of the Highlands and Islands are eligible for 10% discount on the relevant tuition fee for any of our taught postgraduate courses.
Eligible degree alumni must request and have confirmation of the 10% tuition fee discount preferably during the admissions process, but certainly prior to payment of fees and/or enrolment.
