Course Description

Law and Ethics for Health and Social Care at the University of Worcester offers a unique perspective on law for health and social care, adopting a person-centred approach to the law, rather than the traditional medical model approach.

The programme team has worked in close collaboration with services users, carers, students, and practitioners of law, health and social care to ensure that this exciting new programme will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills that are fundamental to supporting individual rights and interests in practise. You will have the opportunity to topics as diverse as mental capacity law; end of life decision making; consequentialist and non-consequentialist theory; the English constitution, Parliamentary privilege and euthanasia.

Entry Requirements

An honours degree at 2:2 level or above in a relevant subject, or equivalent professional qualifications, experience and evidence of continuing professional development in appropriate areas.
