About MathMods

MathMods is a 2-year Joint MSc programme which can be taken in 4 EU universities: University of L’Aquila in Italy (UAQ), Vienna University of Technology in Austria (TUW), University of Hamburg in Germany (UHH), and University of Côte d'Azur in Nice, France (UCA).

What makes MathMods so special is its peculiar mobility scheme, enabling our students to spend their postgrad years in two or even three different European countries. You'll be indeed studying in central Italy for your first semester, then move to Austria or Germany for the second term, and finally move again to 1 of our 4 partners for your second year, based on the mobility path you'll be assigned. 

Upon graduation students will be awarded a Joint Master's degree.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have gained a recognised Bachelor's Degree (BS, BSc, SB, etc.) - or a degree at the same level of a Bachelor's Degree, or 180 ECTS credits – in one of the following: Applied Mathematics; Mathematics with a good background in Physics; Physics with a good background in Mathematics; Engineering with a large background in Mathematics and Physics.
All non-native speakers of English are required to prove a satisfactory level of spoken and written English: e.g. TOEFL: minimum 550 for PBT / 213 for CBT / 80 for IBT; IELTS: 6.0 points; CAE (or any B2-equivalent certificate).


Fees

For the 2020 cohort selected students will benefit from fee waiver for the participation costs (which usually amount to 16,000 EUR in total). Therefore, selected students shall only pay administrative fees for a total of EUR 2,000, due in four installments (at the beginning of each semester).
