The programme also offers energy and environmental options and it is available on campus and online.

International Trade Law is one of the most important laws to business globally. This is a real area of complexity generally but it is especially interesting within the context of EU membership, regional partnerships, changes within countries and other political changes that require changes to legal requirements and trade. International Trade Law works across the entire supply chain of a growing company with areas such as intellectual property and trade marks for start ups and high growth businesses, environmental liability, sea trading, GATT, arbitration and international contracts relating to business transactions. You will also understand any trade agreements between regions on top of those provided by nation states. It is a complex but very interesting area of law in which to work. The programme gives you a full knowledge and understanding of all matters relating to international trade law. You find out who the key players are and how you work to apply the law internationally.

You have a wide range of career opportunities available to you after studying this programme. You could work within policy and negotiation at government level to ensure that international trade runs smoothly and allows business to trade effectively with other nations and vice versa. You could work for a multinational or large scale business operations that requires a level of international knowledge in order for the company to trade effectively, You can also be involved n compliance and regulation across the world particularly if you choose to study the environmental options available with this programme.
