This LLM provides students with an opportunity to develop critical understanding of how politics shape international law and how, in return, law shapes the behaviour of states in their dealings with one another and with other actors.

This innovative programme examines the complex interplay between law and politics in international affairs. Delivered jointly by the School of Law and the School of Politics, Philosophy, International Relations and the Environment (SPIRE), the LLM provides students with an opportunity to develop critical understanding of how politics shape international law and how, in return, law shapes the behaviour of states in their dealings with one another and with other actors. Entry Requirements

You should have a first or second class honours degree (or foreign equivalent) in Law or a related discipline. Applications are welcome from current legal practitioners or any other person with appropriate professional qualifications and/or experience.
